Roman Pfaffl believed in the potential of this Austrian variety Grüner Veltliner early on and is now one of the pioneers in this field. The US-American magazine “Wine Enthusiast” awarded the winery the title “European Winery of the Year” for its achievements in bringing Grüner Veltliner to the world, the only Austrian winery so far to do so. No other wine is so representative for the typical Pfaffl Grüner Veltliner as “Vom Haus”. It’s all about spice, pepper, and crisp, refreshing fruit.
