Famille Perrin, Gigondas, La Gille, AOC, dry, red

Found part-way up a hill, just beneath the centre of the village, the Famille Perrin vineyard is amongst the most historic vineyards in Gigondas. It benefits greatly from the cool air flowing through the valley to the west of the village. The vineshere are rooted in limestone, calcareous marl and sandy soils, giving the Grenache immense finesse and elegance, in addition to some exceptional aromas.
